Turkish citizenship by investment – the ideal complement to a second EU citizenship

The Turkish passport by itself provides moderate worldwide visa-free travel opportunities. It is definitely not as good as an EU passport as it gives the right to live only in Turkey. The number of visa-free countries is also lower. However, the Turkish citizenship has other very important advantages. Especially if combined with an EU passport, the holder of dual EU-Turkey citizenship can achieve ultimate freedom and capital protection. The Turkish investment citizenship program

The Turkish citizenship by investment, as per the amendments of 2022, foresees that Turkish citizenship can be granted to a foreigner in return for:

  • Real estate investment in the amount of at least $400’000 or;
  • Capital investment of minimum $500’000.

After the investment is effected, the applicant can obtain Turkish citizenship within 3 months, along with his family.
